coming soonA part of an initiative to exchange the knowledge about IT and Microsoft products and technologies, Microsoft MDP Nepal, Unlimited Technologies and Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal is going to organize the 3rd Tech Mela at Kathmandu, very soon. The objective of the event is to enhance the knowledge about Microsoft products & technologies to make better use of them, and to upgrade the knowledge about the information technology to the community. Tech Mela 2012 is a part of commitment of Microsoft towards the Nepalese community and is the continuation of the Microsoft’s tradition in Nepal. Previously, Tech Mela was also organized on 29th and 30th March, 2010 and on 24th and 25th June, 2011 at Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel.

Tech Mela is all about celebrating technology. It is one of the biggest event of the whole year that Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal and MSPs organize as their community program. This year, Tech Mela is going to be bigger and better as there will be high-end conferences on Microsoft products and technologies that have never been discussed or trained in the past in Nepal, primarily those that are going to be released in the year 2012. Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal aims to get the attention of the people of various backgrounds like students, IT learners, professionals, faculties, and moreover people of all walks of life at the Mela to upgrade their perception about the tools and softwares developed by Microsoft.

Similar to the previous years, Tech Mela 2012 will be divided into several sessions where IT learners and students can benefit from the various presentations and discussions. This year, Microsoft’s biggest and latest development, Windows 8 developer’s/consumer’s preview will be featured in the Mela. Moreover, the other products that the Mela is expected to cover among its various sessions and conferences is supposed to be among; Office 2010, Visual Studio 2010, SharePoint 2010, Forefront & Threat Management Gateway, Windows Azure, Cloud Computing, CRM Online & Office 365, IE9 & 10 with HTML5, Unified Communication: Microsoft Lync, Web Matrix, Microsoft Intune, Windows Phone 'Mango', High Performance Computing, System Center, Microsoft Multipoint Server 2011, Exchange 2010, XNA Game Studio etc. Similarly the programs among; Imagine Cup, Microsoft Certification, MSP Program, MSDNAA, BizSpark, Student2Business, DreamSpark, Live@Edu, IT Academy, Phone / योगिता, Microsoft MVP Program, Student Tech Clubs, Virtualization Challenge, School In a Box, Startup Weekend etc. are also expected to be addressed during the Tech Mela 2012. Furthermore, the gaming competitions are also likely to held at the Mela.

However, we have to wait till the official announcement by MIC Nepal for the accurate and detailed events and sessions. But, one thing is sure that, Tech Mela 2012 will be a win win for all; for students, for technology enthusiasts, for gamers, for competitors, and of course for organizers. MSPs will showcase all that they have learnt and skills that they have developed; and MIC Nepal will showcase it’s unlimited potential. Tech Mela 2012 will be definitely a milestone in the field of Nepalese technologies, no doubt. So, come on let’s get ready for it, and let’s make it large and better!

nice effort Aashish , the way u covered Techmela from 2010 to 2012 . Just a suggestion though , that it would be better if you could use full forms of the abbreviations ( for eg: Microsoft Student Partners(MSP) ) . It would appeal a larger audience .

Thank you for the suggestion and appreciation Spandan. Actually, I had described a lot about such terms with their full forms just in my last blog post. Though its true that, Not every person who reads this post compulsorily visits my last post as well. So, I'll take your suggestion in account. Thank you!
