If you want to display a message at Windows Startup in Windows 8 to show any rule or policy to use your PC, then follow these steps:

1 – Open Run by pressing WIN + R button from your keyboard.

4 – Then, in the right pane of Registry Editor, right click on Legalnoticecaption and select Modify… from the menu.

5 – After selecting Modify a Dialog box will open. Type the text in the Value Data you want to see in the menu bar and click OK button to save the changes.

7 – After selecting Modify a Dialog box will open. Type the text message in the Value Data you want to display at Windows 8 Startup and click OK button to save the changes.

5 – After selecting Modify a Dialog box will open. Change the Value Data of Start from 3 to 4 and click OKbutton to save the changes.

6 – Now Reboot your PC to effect the changes.

7 – This Registry tweak will disable the USB ports from your computer for Windows 8 and doesn’t detect any USB device. If you want to enable USB Flash drive again, then repeat the above steps and change the Value Data of Start from 4 to 3 again.

How To Switch Between Applications In Windows 8

With the arrival of Windows 8, every Windows Lover is trying to explorer new features of Windows 8. Windows 8 has got a new feature to switch between two applications in an instance of time but the ALT+Tab feature to switch between applications is not available in Windows 8.

1 – Go to one of the opened Application.

2 – Take your Mouse to the left corner side of that opened application.

3 – You can see a Small Window at the left corner side which is showing other opened application. Click thatSmall Window and switch to that application.

4 – Similarly when you move to other application, take your Mouse to the left corner side of that application and you can see a Small Window, showing other opened application. Click that Window to switch applications again.

Follow the following steps:

1 – Log into your Windows Live account by using your credentials and on the Inbox click on the Tools icon.

While surfing the web, there are times when you accidentally close some or all the browser tabs and may want to restore them at a later point of time. If you are using Internet Explorer 9 and want to quickly reopen the last closed websites or tabs, here are the steps you have to follow:

  • Open Internet Explorer and enable viewing of the Command Bar.
  • Now click Tools > Reopen last browsing session and you are done.
