8 Steps To Make Windows 8 USB Device or DVD Bootable

Be what’s next, Windows 8 is the codename of the next version of Microsoft Windows. It adds support for ARM microprocessors in addition to the traditional x86 microprocessors from Intel and AMD. Its user interface has been changed to make it better suited for touchscreen input in addition to the traditional mouse and keyboard input.

8 Steps To Make Windows 8 USB Device or DVD Bootable:
Step 1:
Download Windows Developer Preview from this link. DOWNLOAD
Step 2:
Download Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool from Microsoft Store. DOWNLOAD
Step 3:
Install Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool and run the software. It shows the following screenshot.
Step 4:
Browse to the location of downloaded .iso file and click the file and click open button.

It displays the Source file location and then click Next.

Step 5:
Select the media type USB Device or DVD to make Windows 8 Bootable media.

Step 6:
If USB Device is selected then it displays the inserted USB Device and you can click refresh if your device is not displayed. If DVD is selected then it displays the the inserted DVD Disk.
Now Click Begin copying……………..

Step 7:
In this step the selected USB Device is formatted and then copying of files starts and goes up to 100% and the desired Device is made Bootable.
After this the program can be closed or can again Start Over for same new task….

Step 8:
The Bootable USB Device can be viewed from Computer as K: Drive and Bootable Disk as H: Drive.
Now it can be used to Boot the computer to install Windows Developer Preview.
