How To Find The Product Key Of Your Windows OS??
INCASE OF XP:
Wondering how do get your installed windows XP key back since you have lost the key and needed again to format the computer or else. Here is the better solution.
Sometimes we just install the operating systems and forget to save our keys as it is needed for the next time when we reinstall our windows XP whether at the formatting time or for any other other purpose.So don’t bother buying the new one follow these simple steps:

Go to your main system drive(mostly we have c:)

Go to the windows folder

Search the folder named i386

Now search the txt file named unattend.

There you can see your key at the bottom.
OR
You can also check your key from the registry.
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
The number is listed under ProductId
Note: Inside this unattend txt file there are number of statements written so you need to scroll it down and search for the key.And you can only use your windows key for limited number of times(I believe three times).These steps doesn’t works in the newer version of the windows OS.
INCASE OF THE NEWER VERSION OF THE WINDOWS:
Unlike these steps in the windows XP you cannot follow these steps to find the encrypted product keys for the newer version of the windows operating system.
