Online Identity Integration in Windows 7
Windows 7 gives you facility to share your files and media using using online IDs to identify individuals within the home network. Windows 7 uses Public Key Cryptography User to User PKU2U protocol to authenticate user. Here how to Configure your PC To use Online Integration.
You must install Windows 7 Online Identity Provider for this purpose. You may down this from here for both 32 bit and 64 bit.
After download you need to install which is very simple.
Once installation is done you need to go to Control panel and then to User Accounts
Now click on Link Online IDs
You can Click on Link Online IDs on Windows Live IDs provider
Provide Your Windows Live ID and Password:
Once you are Authenticate your Online Integration is Set.
You may update or remove the Windows IDs from here onward.
Sharing with Online IDs:
You can do a public sharing of your folder. Select the Folder you want to share and goto Share with and then to Specific people and then select the user you want to share
You can now select your online ID for sharing:
