Automating Government Form Using the Microsoft Office System
Er. Ganesh Regmi “Shisir”, from Brain Works gave the
presentation how automating government office, forms using the Microsoft office
system. Mr Regmi says, “ with the Microsoft office system, government agencies
can attain a lots of benefits like, cost savings, reduced time spent on
administrative tasks, also the major concerned of security”.
Mr. Regmi says that, “Government agencies are under pressure
to improve their processes due to the growing set of compliance issues they
must face through e-government acts”. He also adds that government agencies
struggle with the following challenges:
Constituents and citizens are increasingly dissatisfied with
the lack of online forms availability and processing.
Processing paper-based forms is expensive and
time-consuming.
Sharing information across functional groups and agencies is
difficult.
Agencies are under pressure to consolidate existing
applications into multi-agency solutions. Compliance with government
initiatives for streamlining paperwork is difficult.
“The solution is to use the Microsoft office system,” says
Mr. Regmi.
