I am one the win 7 professional user. One problem I'm facing using Win 7 is that I've installed only the softwares of 791 MB only and my c drive partation is 20GB. Lets say 10GB is used by operating system the where is the rest of space ? I've now only 1.09GB available. Still I've to install a lots of Software. Previously  operating system was not giving this problem.
Can I get the solution?

How have you measured the sizes of your installed programs and OS? Did you know that there are Hidden System Files, that do not show up when asked to show Hidden files.

If you have KAV or KIS installed, it is also a culprit.

Use some disk space explorer utility.

if installed Windows 7 over exisiting OS without clean format then you must have previous version of Windows OS in your C drive,Check if you have something called Windows.old folder.
